I’m joining just over 100 of my amazing work colleagues at MOO.
We’re aiming to run nearly 5000 miles in a single month – the distance between our London office and our Denver office.
Over the month I’m going to try to run 80 miles, a tiny contribution, to celebrate the fact that my lovely Dad turns 80 this year.
I’m running to raise money for Parkinson’s disease, an illness that has touched my family twice now – that’s twice too many times.
For the last few years, my dad has been struggling with Parkinson's Disease, which is a really shitty illness.
And unfortunately for our family we know this disease only too well as it also afflicted my ace grandpa, who lived with us as kids until he become too unwell. For those who haven’t seen the effects of this illness, it’s completely shit.
I hope that any money I raise will go towards making sure this doesn’t impact another generation, but for now, I’ll be running 80 miles, telling Parkinson's Disease to fuck right off, every slow lumbering step of the way.
If you feel so inclined, any donations will be gratefully appreciated, and will be matched by my fabulous employer MOO and our corporate sponsors who are raising money for World Mental Health Day – an equally good cause.
