On 5th January 2012 I received an unexpected phonecall from Willen Hospice. My father had been admitted after some months suffering at his home with cancer of the liver. It was a painful and emotional visit but the hospice staff were so kind and caring, not only for my father but also for me. Later that evening, less than 24 hours after being admitted, my father passed away peacefully at the hospice.

If it wasn't for the staff at Willen Hospice, I would have never had the opportunity to say goodbye. They do such a fantastic job and, in just a small part of their day, have made a huge difference to my life. I cannot thank them enough.
