Story

We've seen the news, we've shed a tear - now we can do something positive to hep the innocent, displaced orphans and widows of Syria.

"Springs of Hope" is a family centre based in Reyhanli - a small town in Turkey, close to Syria. The centre will have the capacity for 215 children and 75 mothers or carers, many of whom have been living in difficult and vulnerable conditions. The beauty of this project is that, in addition to providing shelter and security for the orphans and widows, the centre will also provide education, training and employment opportunities, thereby giving these people a brighter and more independent future.

The framework of the building has already been brought - they need our help now for the rest of the work. Please help me raise £2,500 which will be used to build a children's play area within the family centre. People I know and trust have already been out there and seen this work in progress   - please take a look at the video and see for yourself:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MbynqwrhQs

Thanks for visiting my page! Please give generously, even if just a few pounds and feel free to share this page with family and friends.  :)
