We fund vital medical equipment and support to improve life for sick children in Sussex

Story

This will be my first 10 mile run and it will be one year since I donned my trainers and hauled myself along Brighton seafront.  Having struggled to run for more than a few minutes back then, I still can't quite believe that I am now getting ready to run 10 miles; but with willpower and determination, anything is possible!

As this run marks a milestone for me, I wanted to use it to make a difference to someone else, so I am raising money for Rockinghorse Children's Charity.  Every day is a milestone for the sick children they help; from tiny, fragile premature babies to teenagers with cancer.

Rockinghorse provides medical equipment for specialist baby units at our local hospitals in Sussex. They also offer respite care including sensory gardens for disabled children and toys so that sick children can still be children, even in hospital.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
