Story
Hi everyone,
On the 6th July I'm taking part in Run Richmond Park 10k for the MS Society. Running is not my strong point and Richmond park also has the added bonus of hills so this will be by no means easy for me!
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people in the UK. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the symptoms. We don't know the cause and we haven't yet found a cure, but research is progressing fast. The MS Society offer hope for the future by investing millions in research, and help for today through information, support and campaigning.
Any sponsorship you can manage would be a great help to the charity and will motivate me to step up my training regime!
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this and donate :-) Any support is really appreciated!!
