<p>As you know my darling mum lost her battle with cancer in December. Throughout this dreadful time, we relied on the help of and have continued to rely on the help of Chai Cancer Care. &nbsp;Chai provides invaluable services to patients, family and friends of cancer sufferers. Chai receives no government funding and is totally reliant on fundraising and donations. &nbsp;</p> <p>Nothing can prepare you for the journey that you undertake when a loved one is diagnosed with cancer let alone facing the loss of a parent. &nbsp;My mum was an inspiration to us during her illness. &nbsp;</p> <p>I look forward to celebrating my birthday with you all and I know that my mum will be celebrating with me.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>xx</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
