We all know someone who has suffered mental health issues. It's the hardest thing to talk about - to ask and offer support for. It impacts all of us directly and indirectly, so I'm proud to be walking for wellbeing.
I love being out on the hills with my boots on, but I'm really unfit an have never attempted this sort of distance. So I'm excited and a bit scared about this challenge.
Update: I have done 61 miles in my new boots and I was feeling more confident. I did a 20 mile training walk 2 weeks ago but hurt my foot, so I have had to ease off on the walking. Planning to heal this week And get some cheeky miles in before the big day next week
Woo hoo! boots are back on and I'm training again. Really looking forward to getting out there this week. Weather is looking good so should be beautiful!
