My story

On 15th July 2011, as part of an away day with work, I am going to attempt to climb the Goatfell on the isle of Arran, from where goats have fallen in the past, which will induce massive amounts of wheezing and hopefully some money too as I am asking for some sponsorship to embark on voluntary ankle breaking, and for a really good cause.

The company I'm working for, Twig, are contributing to the continued building of a school in Ruarwe in Malawi where the next step is to put in some solar panels to get some computers up and running. Which will then be kitted out with educational videos and interactive software that everyone in the school and community can use.

I am also going to add that the two people who raise the most money will be going to Malawi care of twig to help put in the solar panels and show how to use the software and I would definitely like to be one of those two people. This has been described as 'crafty philanthropy' on my part but regardless of the outcome the project is brilliant so any and all donations are welcome under anyones name.

Any sponsorship that you can give will make a huge, huge, real difference.

You can read the blog post about the event on Twig's website HERE!
