Story

On 22 April 2012 I am running the Virgin London Marathon in memory of Keith Pittuck and raising money for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

As many of you will know, Keith was an amazing father, husband, friend and an all round legend. In 2008 Keith was diagnosed with cancer but he never let that stop him living life to the full, including seeing all three of his children - Hannah, Paul and Faye - get married in the year that followed.

Whilst receiving treatment, Keith stayed on a Hellen Rollason ward at Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford. Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting people whose lives are touched by cancer.

On 22 April 2009 Keith lost his battle with cancer and is deeply missed by his family and friends. Keith always encouraged those close to him to go out and embrace opportunities and most of all to have fun! Since I have wanted to run the London Marathon for a long time, this is just a small thing to do in memory of a great man.
