This summer, I will be travelling to Western Kenya with a group of medical students as part of the Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP).  KOP is an international development charity which supports orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya by improving access to school health and nutrition. KOP works with local project partners to support children and so far has been involved in establishing a hospital, health clinic, primary and secondary schools,community centres and a support and rehabilitation centre for street children. I am trying to raise money so that these projects, alongside new ones we will be helping out with this summer, can continue to develop and benefit children who didn’t have the best start in life.
