At the beginning of 2010, Jo, Becky and I have decided to throw ourselves out of a plane head first from 10,000ft. Crazy some may think, this is for a wonderful cause to raise money for the Reading & District Hospital Oncology Ward.
This is on behalf of Donna Barrett, a family friend who is terminally ill with cancer. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and although a stressful time for Donna, has recognised the incredible work by the staff. Donna wishes to repay her gratitude by raising money to redecorate the look of the waiting area. It is in desperate need of a new coat of paint and more, to refresh the feel of the ward, and assist in brightening up the atmosphere for patients in a similar situation.
