FARA Foundation is a registered charity both in UK and Romania and has been actively working with orphaned and abandoned children in Romania since 1991. In Romanian FARA means "without" and the charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of some of the poorest and most marginalised children in Eastern Europe- providing care, education and life skills.

My story

Hi all and thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

I am doing a 5 km buggy fun run on Sept 15th in Battersea Park, in aid of Fara, the Romanian childrens and orphanage charity.

I know everyone gets lots of these requests, so no sweat if this is not for you. And since it is a fun run after all, small donations are just as welcome.

Or if you'd prefer to come along and just have a laugh at women running with buggies, that's fine too!

Alex is getting heavy, so i should be guaranteed a workout.
