As a Kantar HQ employee, I and a group of colleagues from other Kantar businesses have decided to take on the mighty challenge of climbing for UNICEF.
Kilimanjaro is the largest free standing mountain in at nearly 6000m high. It will take us eight days, trekking through unpredictable terrains and nauseating altitudes.
UNICEF will use the money we raise for its Children’s corners projects in , which looks after orphaned children and offers them a better life, including access to basic amenities and to an education.
I feel really strongly about this cause and this trip will be a great personal challenge, particularly in terms of my own level of fitness, but also in raising as much money as possible for UNICEF.
I am putting a significant amount of my own money into paying for the trip, but as a team we want to raise more than £50k for the charity. My personal fundraising goal is £1,700 and I really need your support to achieve this.
If you are a Kantar employee there are lots of events going on in and around your office aimed at raising funds for the project, to find out more simply contact teamkantarkili@tns-global.com or go visit http://www.charitychallenge.com/expedition.html?id=1235.
