Ok, we're only going to do this once, we've got our 23 week training plan, our trainers and our running vests and we're aiming (or hoping!) for sub 4 and 1/2 hours. But getting round the course is not our biggest challenge, raising £3000 is.

We are running in aid of WellChild which - for those of you that don't know - is a fantastic charity doing amazing things for seriously ill children and young people in the UK. WellChild nurses are just one way that WellChild makes a huge impact . Operating within the community, the WellChild nurses work with families caring for very sick children, often a child with severe and complex health needs, requiring a high level of care. This will include providing a link between all health professionals working with the family and wherever possible helping children to receive the medical care they need from home rather than in hospital.

If we reach our fundraining target of £3000 we will have raised enough money to fund a WellChild nurse for 3 weeks.

It only takes 300 people to donate £10.00 (just 40pence per mile) to reach our target so PLEASE donate whatever you can.
