Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On September 20th 2014 I will be walking a Monopoly Board route around London along with my incredible mum, Helen Mascall, and our friends and family. I would like to add my own little bit of fundraising to her pot as not only did the John Radcliffe Neurology Department save her life they also supported mine and my family's whilst she was ill.
Five years ago, my mum suffered a huge bleed on her brain and was rushed to hospital. After three days in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit in an induced coma at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, she spent a following month recuperating in the ward. All the time receiving expert care from everyone in the department from nurses to consultants.
The Cavernoma that caused the bleed is still there but we are grateful for everyday we've had with her since then and want to give back what we can to the staff at the John Radcliffe.
Our walk is approx 15 miles around London, making sure to stop off at every monopoly board space on the way. Whatever support you can give would be greatly appreciated and all funds go directly to our cause.
