I am training for the Run For All York 10K on Sunday 7th August 2016 to raise funds for Benenden Charitable Trust.

So, I'm not a runner. In fact up until a few months ago, I hated it, and had perhaps ran a few times in my life. But after being persuaded to support this amazing cause, I thought I'd better to start training. Not once did I think I could run 10k straight without stopping, but after 6 months I'm now running 20k every week and today I ran 10k in 59 minutes!!!!  Do I now love running? NO WAY! But I do like it, and what I do love about it is being able to reward myself with a guilt free vanilla slice after!

Benenden Charitable Trust provides grants to people struggling to make ends meet because of illness, disability and medical conditions.
