Story
Oh God what AM I doing?! Yes I have managed to secure a place in the London Marathon and will be running for Steve and the CMA.
Ok so you'll all know why I'm crazy enough to do this but for those who need a reminder - Steve was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in November 2006. He was fit and well until the end of 2010. It's so hard to write this but as you know Steve tragically passed away on 10 September 2011. He was the kindest man any of us will probably ever meet. He was a gentleman and no-one who knew him had a bad word to say about him. He was loved by all those who knew him and will remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of his friendship.
He was so proud of me doing this crazy crazy thing and I am even more determined to do it now than ever.
The CMA who I'm running for provide valuable support for patients and sufferers with this condition and have been a huge support for me and Steve since his diagnosis.
I know everyone's feeling the squeeze in terms of money but please help me get as close to my target as I can. You can donate to show your love and support to Steve or because you love the thought of me suffering and punishing myself through training and on the day itself - your call!
Please be as generous as you can, for Steve.
Love,
Nat
