I am raising money to rebuild Bani Bilas School in Nepal, which was damaged by the 2015 earthquakes. It's a remote school in the Patan region south of Kathmandu, and has around 600 children. Children are currently learning in temporary shelters that are very hot in the summer and very noisy in the monsoon season, so they're not a great place to learn. This has led to poor exam results and lots of children dropping out of school.

ActionAid Guernsey's project at Bani Bilas will rebuild a block of six classrooms, with the aim of providing children with a safe place to learn in a disaster resilient school. Education is so important in helping to lift communities out of the poverty cycle, and rebuild their lives after the earthquakes, so please donate and help change the lives of some of the world's poorest people.
