Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As you may have heard we are doing the London Marathon in April! This is going to be a massive challenge but an incredibly exciting one. The next few months will be all about the training which is set to be the biggest challenge of all. We will be hanging up our dancing shoes and swapping cosy Sundays and lazy weekend lay-ins for smelly trainers, cold mornings and knowing this country, some miserable wet weather conditions! None of which are sounding that appealing right now but it is all for a good cause which we would really love your support on. Crossing the finish line will be both a personal achievement and one for a fantastic charity.
We are running for Sense which is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind to live fulfilling and aspirational lives and live as independently as possible. Deafblindness refers to a combination of sight and hearing impairment which causes difficulties in a range of areas including communication, access to information and mobility. All of these things we take for granted each day and so it will be great to give something back.
Timing is not great just after Christmas but I am sure you will agree this a great charity to run for so if you would be happy to sponsor us and help us achieve our target of £2,000.
