As many of you know I used to work at The Christie and so I know first hand the amazing work they do. I also, like so many of you will, knows lots of people who have been treated at The Christie. 

The Christie is also the nominated charity of Galaxy pageants UK and so far they have raised £250k! Go pageant girls! 💪🏽💙 

I wanted to do something to raise some money, but I know we all get asked to sponsor people constantly. Therefore I wanted it to be something good! I asked twitter and lots of great suggestions came back. 

I work full time and also part time, not to mention my son, dogs and husband! So it needed to be something that didn’t need a lot of training....

So I’ve decided to challenge myself for The Christie and so I will be doing a Skydive, Abseil and Firewalk.....

On Sunday 22nd September I will be doing the sky dive. I am terrified. Absolutely terrified! I am not 100% sure right now I will be able to do it....but lots of donations will certainly help. 

On Sunday 29th September I will be abseiling down the side of the Peel Tower bear Bury. This monument is stunning and I am excited about this! 

Then on Thursday 24th October I will be doing a firewalk in Stockport. This one has me nervous but I’m looking forward to finding out how it’s possible and if I can do it! 

I am also still keeping my eyes open for any other challenges I can do, that don’t need lots of training!! If you have any ideas do let me know. 

I have paid all the costs involved in taking part, so all the donated money will go to The Christie. 

I really hope you can sponsor me and help me to smash my £1000 target.
