Make-A-Wish® UK grants magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. A wish gives a desperately ill child and their family time away from the daily struggles of living with a serious condition.

To raise a large amount of money for such an important cause, I will be undertaking the Machu Picchu Trek in Peru. The trek will be the adventure of a lifetime, and will allow me to challenge myself in order to fundraise for Make-A-Wish® UK. I have decided to take on the challenge as it has given me the opportunity to explore the Inca Trail and the ancient city, whilst experiencing the culture of Peru. During the trek I will face obstacles such as heat and altitude which will test my fitness and endurance to the limit.

However, the only way I will be able to make it to Machu Picchu is by raising £2,990 for Make-A-Wish® UK. With your donations I will be able to complete the challenge and help the charity to grant more wishes to children fighting serious illnesses.
