Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Sheffield half marathon for the third year running except this time I am doing it with very time little for training. For the first time though I am raising money for my chosen charity Rett Syndrome Research Trust UK. My partners little girl, Maddi who is 5, has this condition and I am a firm believer in the work this charity is doing to find treatments and hopefully a cure that will mean that Maddi and others like her would be able to have a fuller life. Maddi is very limited in what she can do due to her condition and I know she is one of the better cases. Rett is a relatively newly discovered condition and the more we can learn the better life will be for those affected. If you want to know more there is a lot of information online and on the Rett Syndrome Research Trust UK website. Please help to give Maddi, her family and many others like them a brighter future.
