BHF - Peak District Mountain Bike Challenge · 8 October 2011 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Right then, I've decided to do the Dark Peak Challenge, it's 42 miles of off road fun on Sunday 8th October, BHF have sucessfully blackmailed me into attempting to do something more than just paying the entry fee, so my goal is to raise 50 squids for the BHF.

Here's the kicker, the more I raise the harder I'll make it on myself, so it goes like this:

£50 raised: I do the ride on my lightweight cross country bike.

£75 raised: I do the ride on my slightly heavier bike

£100 raised: I do the ride on my seriously heavy DH bike, this more or less guarentees that I will need the services of the BHF before the end of the day!

So there it is, the more you give, the more I hurt, so the question is, how much do you want to hurt me;-)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
