Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On April 21st I'm running in the Virgin London Marathon. This is my first marathon, and I'm running to raise money for Compton Hospice, a palliative care centre that serves people in the West Midlands area. My Father passed away from cancer when I was twelve, and it was at Compton where he was cared for during his last few weeks. It's a charity that my Mum and I have supported since this time, so it would be great to raise as much money as possible for a great cause.
It's been a hard slog of training on cold, wet January evenings, turning down social events and generally living a healthier, more boring existence. It's becoming more enjoyable as the weather improves and I have just completed a cheeky Half Marathon in 1 hour 33 mins. Please make all this training worthwhile and donate to this very worthy cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks,
Nathan
