DARE TO BARE - HEAD SHAVE CHALLENGE · 11 March 2015

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Yes - we really did have our heads shaved to raise money for Macmillan. It was a scary prospect but we are truly delighted with the level of support that we have received from colleagues, family and friends that has made this all so worthwhile. Many thanks to Charlotte Passey our lovely hairdresser who ‘did the deed’ and to BMS for filming the event.

One of the well-known and common consequences of undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer is hair loss.  Our fundraising challenge tackles this issue 'head on' with the aim of standing in solidarity with those undergoing cancer treatment.  No one should face cancer alone and Macmillan Cancer Support is working to make that a reality.

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page and for your generous support.
