In August 2007 a friend of mine, Nigel Curran, passed away at Overgate Hospice having been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer only 6 months earlier. Having seen the fantastic environment and the wonderful team at Overgate, I try to take every opportunity I can to raise money for the hospice in Nigel's memory.
I have (rather stupidly, some would say given my current fitness levels!!) volunteered to run the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k race on Sunday 22nd of November.........at 9am in the morning....what was I thinking???
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and help Overgate. Even if it's just a pound, your donation will be greatly appreciated by the hospice, who need an incredible £4,000 every day in donations just to survive.
Please donate....and earn the right to shout...RUN.....FAT BOY.......RUN at me whenever you like.
Thank you in advance.
Neal
