Sick Kids Save Point 6 - 24hr Gaming Marathon · 10 October 2015

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.

Story

Howdy folks, Colin and Paul from the Nearly Men Podcast here with a brand new challenge for a great cause.

This year we are taking part in 'Sick Kids Save Point 6' who have raised over £71,000 for the Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital over the last five years.

It has snowballed into a major event on the Scottish gaming calender, and we thought we'd get in on the action to test out our Gaming endurance.

This year they are gearing up to move to a sparkling new hospital at Little France. This move is difficult culturally, because people have such personal and emotional memories of the building at Sciennes. But that makes the work of the charity in smoothing that transition even more important.

So on Saturday 10th October at 1pm, Colin and Paul will begin a 24 hr 'movement game' marathon the boys will, between them, play non stop for 24 hours and hopefully raise some money for a very worthy cause.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Colin and Paul
