Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am hoping to climb Mount Snowdon to help raise money for a Muslim Hands project on November 3rd 2013. The aim of the project in to raise enough money to run a bread factory in Aleppo, Syria.

As many of you may be aware, the situation in Syria is truly devastating with several thousands of lives, homes and land being destroyed. The situation is far from over and the lives of children and women are more in danger than ever before. The daily escalation of the devastation means that the humanitarian situation has gone from bad to worse, with minimal medical attention and a worsening outcome for the already injured.

It costs approximately £467 per day to run this Bread Factory, which we are hoping to contribute towards, with a monthly running cost of around £14,000. This Bread Factory produces 6,000 loaves per day, which are delivered by volunteers to 1,500 needy and poor families. This amounts to around 7,500 individuals being fed on a daily basis

We, at the University of Liverpool, have pledged to raise money to run this Bread Factory for a whole month, thus we aim to raise £14,000.

We desperately require your donations and support to help us fulfil our targets, and Muslim Hands fully support our efforts towards this noble and lifesaving causes in an emergency and conflict zone.

Please donate as much as you can! Every donation can help make a difference! :)

Thank you!!!
