It is only four months since I started cycling regularly again, initially just to improve fitness, but I have since been convinced to take part in organised events.  This event is significantly longer than I have managed in a single ride before.

The reason for choosing Wiltshire Air Ambulance Trust is that after being to be taken to A&E last year in an ambulance car I realised just how far the main hospitals are from Devizes. This brought home to me the important role the trust plays in supporting the emergency services in life and death situations.
