On Thursday, 19th of June, I will be joining my Barclays colleagues in a grueling, 10 mile, up-stream odyssey of a race against time and the tide of the Thames. We will battle against the elements, the current, the ferries and other myriad river-users including god-knows-what kind of flotsam and jetsam in order to win your approval and admiration and to (hopefully) inspire you to donate to this excellent charity.
