Story

Yes it's hard to believe but I am doing a half Marathon, not a full one, just a half one - Don't wanna kill myself!

I've started training and after a few hurdles, like my legs not working, I'm slowly getting into it. Had a few physio sessions to get the legs going after killer shin splints, got the Nike+ app and an iPod full of running tunes and now I'm on my way.

Four of us from WTF are doing this (I blame Alice, it was her idea). On the 7th October Myself, Mikey, Ant and Alice are all doing the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.

I'm running for the Alzheimer's Society, some might say I'm investing in my own future, but my dear old Grandmother had Alzheimer's and I think this is a worthy cause. So I'm doing it for Nan.

Wish me luck (I'm gonna need it!) and please give a little to a great charity. My aim is to raise £500.
