Alzheimer's Society - Trek Kilimanjaro 2012 · 2 February 2012 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who have donated towards my cause. The challenge was really a huge success both for myself personnally and very much the charity.

Thank you all from the bottome of my heart

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am at that age where I am seeing parents and my friends parents going through the various stages of Alzheimers, with my father in law currently in hospital at a serious stage of the development of this illness. It effects close members of the family whio can only standby and give what support they can. The problem is deepening as we all live longer.

I am taking on a challenge that for every painful step I know I am raising money to help us both understand and act better in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
