Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. With your help, we can build a safer world for children. unicef.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year the needs of children around the world remain as profound as ever.  We are daily hearing of refugee crises, military conflict, natural and man-made disasters.  There are many victims, but those who have least control, least blame and most to lose are the children.

Over the last two years, our Concord community has raised £70,000 for UNICEF supporting its wonderful work around the world.  This year I am running once again to see if we can exceed our previous efforts.

I am delighted to say that I have a team of 50 wonderful friends, colleagues, alumni, friends and family and we are combining our efforts to raise £50,000.

So, 50 of us raising £50,000!  The other (50) is to admit that I am 50 this year: the training and running is getting a little harder each year but the cause seems to be even more pressing...

I really hope you are able to make a donation.
