Headlines Craniofacial Support UK provides practical support and information to people affected by craniosynostosis and other rare craniofacial conditions to help them overcome the physical, psychological and social impacts of living with these conditions.

Story

I have just cycled 173 miles along the Way of the Roses cycle route (www.wayoftheroses.co.uk/theroute.html) from10th-12th May with some friends.  As part of the ride I had decided that I wanted to raise money for a charity whilst enjoying the ride.

I choose Headlines (www.headlines.org.uk), as friends of mine have a daughter with craniolfacial syndrome, a condition where one or more of the plates in the skull fuses, normally before birth, resulting in problems often requiring surgical intervention at a young age.  Our friends daughter is now 4 years old, having had several operations, is doing very well and is a character to deal with at times.  This charity provides support for families and helps them meet other families with children with similar conditions and our friends have benefited from events run by them.

So please support me to support them.
