This page is dedicated to the memory of Neil Splaine who was tragically killed in a motor cycle accident earlier this year.
The tragic loss of this great guy
Will bring a teardrop to our eye,
His family life brought so much pleasure
Magic moments for all to treasure.
His work-time too was filled with pride
A real perfectionist deep inside,
And whilst at play he loved to jest
He’d often don some fancy dress
Just to perform a funny joke
With lots of laughs from lots of folk.
The perfect friend so good and true
Who’d always do what he could do,
To give advice or lend a hand
And help us all to understand
Neil would give joy and never sorrow
And teach us there’ll always be a new to-morrow.
Neil will carry on in our hearts
We’ll tell his jokes and remember his smile
He was our best friend, by a mile
