Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, I'm have been fortunate enough to be able to follow my country's national football team around the world since 2003.

To give something back I'm raising money for two childrens charities The Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal a childrens charity ran by volunteers from the Tartan Army to spread a little sunshine in countries where Scotland are playing which is a cause I have been supporting since 2004 & the Tartan Army Childrens Charity who help disadvantaged children in Scotland.

The task: I'm walking from Scotland's national football stadium Hampden Park, in the South of Glasgow, to the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond - a distance of just over 26 miles. Oh yeah, and I'm doing it in my kilt come rain, snow or shine.

The ask: A few of us are doing this as a team event. We're called Aching Soles. We have a team target to raise £2,000. If you can spare £2 or Roubles or Lei or even Euros, every little will help towards achieving my own personal target of raising £500 and the team's overall objective.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
