<p>By 10th July 2012 I will have lived 50 years on this planet and consumed an enormous amount of food and water. For each year of my life, I would like to raise at least &pound;10 for Action Against Hunger.</p> <p>Global hunger now afflicts nearly a billion people worldwide. Severe acute malnutrition, however, is the more immediate killer: it threatens the lives of 19 million children. <strong>Every year at least 3.5 million of them die from malnutrition-related causes.</strong></p> <p>So please, if your were thinking of giving, chocolates, bottles of wine or socks to me (rather presumptious I know!)
