Neil's Romsey Mill 23 Peaks 52 Mile Marathon Challenge · 18 May 2013

Romsey Mill creates opportunities with disadvantaged young people and families in Cambridgeshire. With a long-term relational approach it furthers development through activities shaped with participants. Romsey Mill works with young parents, young families, young people on the autistic spectrum and young people needing focused support to increase confidence and skills.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You may know that in 2010 I slept outside for 30 nights, through one of the coldest Decembers on record, to raise funds for Romsey Mill.  It has taken 2.5 years for me to thaw out but I am now ready to take on a new challenge! I say 'ready'...in fact I am far from ready and I certainly don't feel very able. But I am willing. And I am willing because Romsey Mill is creating life changing opportunities for young people and families and the charity needs funds to continue this work.

So what is the new challenge?

On Saturday 19th October, I am going to run for Romsey Mill.  I am aiming to run quite a long way. 52 miles (which is a double marathon). The route will take me from the lowest point in Great Britain, which happens to be in Cambridgeshire, over 23 of the highest 'peaks' in the County.
