Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Several years ago as a serving police officer with Fife Constabulary I had the misfortune of dealing with a cot death in the course of my work. I now am extremely lucky enough to have two children of my own and as such cannot begin to imagine how hard it is for families effected by cot death. Last year I decided to raise funds for The Scottish Cot Death Trust, an organisation that provides support to families effected by cot death and that also funds research, and raised over £800 running Dunfermline Half Marathon. This year I've really lost it and decided to run London Marathon on April 25th for the charity!!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Every penny is appreciated.
