In June 2022, Steve Pope and the Nelson & NW Region Group Managers are
rowing 26 miles along the river Wye in Herefordshire to complete a MaROWthon. 

We start at Hoarwithy on 23^rd June and with a fair wind and much
luck, will finish at Symonds Yat some time on 24^th June.

There will be 9 of us in 4 canoes and as a number
of the “crew” have never rowed before, the speed and direction of travel could
be rather interesting.

Please support our team as we aim to raise vital funds for
Macmillan Cancer Support.

Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic Macmillan has
faced adversity with many planned fundraising activities cancelled. The effects
of the pandemic have been truly distressing for people living with cancer,
but we can help get these people the emotional and medical support they
need by raising as much money as possible for our charity partner.
