Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Hello

Thanks to everyone for their donations! I completed the Loch Ness Marathon on Sunday 4th October: Yep, all 26 miles 326yds (Or 42 km) in 4 hours, 38 mins and 23 seconds WOOHOO! In aid of Alzheimer Scotland.

Those of you who know me well, will already know that my dad was diagnosed with this awful disease last year, but you may be unaware that Alzheimer's can affect younger people too. Please help me raise some much needed cash and awareness for this very worthwhile cause.

For those of you who sponsored me last time and feel aggrieved at giving to the same charity again - Please sponsor me anyway just to make the pain worthwhile! No donation is too small (Or too large :-)) so please give whatever you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for visiting my page xxx
