For my new years resolution this year I decided to do something a little bit different and entered Blenheim triathlon!! Whilst other people I know have given up chocolate, alcohol or joined a gym, I wanted a bigger New Year challenge and wanted to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

There are many reasons why I’ve decided to swim 750m, cycle 20km and run 6km for Macmillan; from personal experience I have been aware of the fantastic work that Macmillan professionals do across Wales and the UK to support people affected by cancer and last year I was lucky enough to join the Macmillan Wales team. Since joining Macmillan it is clear that through fantastic people fundraising, Macmillan can provide the practical, financial, emotional and medical support to people affected by cancer and push for better cancer care.

I hope you can spare a couple of pounds to help Macmillan and make it a little easier for me to get up at 6am in the mornings to do some training!
