Kicks Count is the UK's leading baby movement awareness campaign. Empowering mums-to-be with knowledge and confidence, we provide information on why baby's movements matter, preventing stillbirth and saving precious lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Myself and Em are going to climb the 19400ft to the top of Kilimanjaro, as well as having to train for this we will also have to hope that we do not sucumb to altitude sickness  All money raised will go straight to the charity, I am funding the climb. The money raised will go to Count The kicks, a local charity.  This charity is run by a good friend of mine who tragially lost her baby in the very late stages of pregnancy. As anyone who knows her has come to expect, she made it her mission to try and make sure no one else goes through this heart ache.

Sofia with the help of her partner Dan have set up the count the kicks charity, with the aim of raising awareness of the problem and what can be done to reduce the risks.

Count The Kicks aim to raise awareness of the risks associated in the later stages of pregnancy and the statistics surrounding late miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death. We want to teach expectant Mums to be proactive in their care during pregnancy and to work with their healthcare providers to ensure their baby’s safe delivery

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
