On the weekend of 9th and 10th July, Nick Beckett, Charlotte Beckett, Alex Bowtell, Tom Reid, Kate Boxall, Richard Boxall and Anita Oliver will be undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24 hours.
This gruelling task involves walking the equivalent distance of a marathon with 2 miles of vertical ascent thrown in! There will be doubtless be sore feet, tired legs and blisters galore.
We are putting ourselves through this to raise money for CMS Cameron McKenna's Charity Partner, Special Olympics GB, who provide all year round sports facilities for people with learning disabilities.
It's a great cause and any your sponsorship will make a huge difference, not only to the charity, but in inspiring us to race up the peaks. So please dig deep!
