Mary’s Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding programmes in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The charity now feeds more than 2.6 million children every school day and it costs just £19.15/€22.00 to feed a child for a year.

Story

The five of us are cycling as a team 5555 miles in 333 days. There are lots of teams and individuals taking part and the fundraising is for the kids in Karonga who are going to get their school lunches from the Mary's Meals kitchen. 

Unfortunately the need to be at home and do some work, coupled with political instability in key areas of north African, have made cycling from Scotland to Malawi a bit of a non starter. But those clever folk who run the internet have come up with a solution. We can virtually ride from Coll to Karonga.
