<p>Newton House, Kelly College are planning to swim the Strait of Dover there and back - this equates to a distance of 68km (42miles) . Newton House plan to do this in our school pool to raise money for The Cots for Tots Appeal and we are aiming to complete this mega distance in just one hour! Everyone in the House is going to cover as far as possible in that hour be it a couple of lengths or two miles for the elite swimmers! Everyone is going to give everything they have!</p>
<p>The Cots for Tots Appeal supports special care babies at St Michael's Hospital in Bristol and is part of the wider Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal. The Cost for Tots appeal wants to raise £1 million to provide four life-saving special incubator cots together with a new intensive care suite within the Neonatal Intensive care unit (NICU) at St Michael's Hospital, whcih speacialises in looking after premature babies and newborn babies with difficulties.</p>
