In March 2018, a whole lot of folks from across the UK (and some in Europe) will complete a relay Iron Man event.  Each discipline and distance (2.4 mile Swim/112 mile Cycle/26.2 mile Run) will be split amongst 42 athletes who will be competing in different parts of the UK and beyond.

After each person has completed their section, they will mention (@) the next competitor via Twitter to digitally hand over the baton and the next athlete will complete their leg.  This will happen in turn, throughout the day and will be managed completely through Twitter.

With 9 swimmers, 7 cyclists and 26 runners we will all combine to complete an Iron Man over the course of Sunday 18th March 2018.
