Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. With your help, we can build a safer world for children. unicef.org.uk

Story

The conflict in Syria is the world’s largest humanitarian crisis since World War II. UNICEF and its partners are committed to delivering essential services for Syrian families and keeping Syrian children from becoming a ‘lost generation’. Critical efforts are being made to minimise the impact of the crisis on children – including in the life-saving areas of health, nutrition, immunisation, water and sanitation, as well as education and child protection.

My fundraising campaign is specifically based on raising awareness around the educational initiatives. Any donation you would like to offer will go directly towards providing educational tools, resources and safe environments to support the development of children whose lives have been traumatised by the effects of the violence.

Thank you for your support - all children should be given the right to education, regardless of religion, geography or social circumstance. UNICEF are actively making this happen, on the ground and at a higher advocacy level. It is important that, throughout this extremely difficult period of their lives, the children affected by conflict continue to receive the support needed to build an identity and a life that is not determined by the effects of war.

Lots of love, Niamh and UNICEF NextGen London
