Dear Friends

Rather than receiving wedding gifts, we'd like to raise some money for the Kianh Foundation which works at the Hoi An Orphanage in Vietnam.

The Kianh Foundation is  run by our friend Jackie Wrafter. Her story is truly inspirational. When she first visited the orphanage seven years ago she found dozens of disabled children tied to their beds in a dark, stinking room. None of the children were ever picked up or hugged. Unable to leave the children in such a terrible state, Jackie returned the following day and cleaned the room - and gave each child a cuddle. 

Jackie stayed and set up programs to help the children transform their lives. Today, her team provide the physiotherapy, education and love that children need to develop into fully functioning adults. When you see the pictures of smiling children on the Kianh Foundation's website, it's hard to believe that Jackie found many of them in such dire conditions.
