On the 9th of December 2012 I will be running from Marathon to the Acropolis in Athens, a distance of about 40km.

I will be following the route that legend has it was run by Pheidippides, the Greek messenger who in 490BC was sent from the battlefield of Marathon to Athens to announce that the Persians had been defeated.

There are Five of us running with no goals except that is to finish and raise as many donations for Special Effect as we can.
